Richárd Bakó

During my studies in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Pécs, I became more and more interested in different 3D technologies and their applications. I had the opportunity to intern at the 3D Printing and Visualisation Centre, where I gained additional experience in design, modelling and printing.

I am currently working as a design engineer segmenting medical images as well as designing and priting 3D medical and anatomical models and devices.

My main professional activities include the design and development of patient-specific cranial implants and the moulds required for their manufacture. I am skilled in using 3D Slicer, Blender, and Autodesk Inventor software, and I am also an expert in FDM, SLS and SLA printing methods.
